Much of Hartley's local development has occured in Hartley's Industrial Park as well as new home development on the east side. Work from Hartley Economic Development Committee is helping to ensure more development in Hartley. With the addition the Vera Sun's Ethanol Plant, we hope that more businesses and families will be attracted to the area.

Hartley's Industrial Park is located on the Southeast side of the community. It is strategically located near the I&M Railroad and the Hartley Truck Route. It is currently home to American Natural Soy, O'Brien County Maintenance Shed, Russell's Ready Mix, Northwest Ag Alliance and Jimmy Jay's Illustrations.
It is a designated Enterprise Zone Area as well as a Urban Renewal Area with industrial tax abatement incentives in place. |
